Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager-Contract Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the cost, fulfilment, and quality of assigned Services suppliers, by issuing/managing purchase orders, maintaining delivery schedules and establishing clear communication rhythm to assure customer expectations are met.
  • Managing End of End of Supplier contract and relationship
  • Identify alternate sources for assigned components to assure best in market pricing is obtained and negotiate with current suppliers to secure year over year deflation.
  • Identify local/regional suppliers to minimize transportation cost of utilizing “non-Local” /historical supply base.
  • Collaborate with Field services teams and commercial sales teams to develop forecasts for Services parts.
  • Establish vendor managed inventory/Kanban programs with suppliers to minimize fulfillment issues, reduce cycle times and increase inventory turns/cash flow.
  • Support the Global Commodity Leaders and Services Sourcing Leader on executing commercial sourcing strategy in addition to resolving quality issues with the support of the sourcing quality team.
  • Manage assigned Oracle requisition queue by placing POs in a timely manner and maintaining PO’s to assure supplier promise dates are aligned with customer need dates. Track in-transit material to resolve any potential delivery issues.
  • Resolve invoice, receiving and payment issues.
  • Lead NCR / RTV resolution in conjunction with warehouse team and SQE.
  • Ensure suppliers have correct drawings/specs and are able to deliver on time to any revisions.
  • Manage and resolve issues relative to engineering design changes, SDRs and production schedule changes to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop process to look upstream for pending services requirements and drive engineering/mfg./sales in order to ensure sourcing given adequate cycle to procure material.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

  • Relevant experience in Industrial Manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, supply chain management or business
  • Technical Acumen in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines

Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong ORACLE, and database management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • MBA
  • Business/Military Experience.
  • Black Belt or Green Belt certified
