- The Applications Engineer role provides detailed technical and commercial quotation support to the Sales engineer in order to generate sales.
- The Application Engineer is responsible for the application and quotation of Control valve products in response to customer and/ or representative inquiries.
- This position acts as an expert in solutions related to Control valve offerings and works in close conjunction with customers and representatives to provide the best possible available solution.
- Working closely with the appropriate resources, acts as an interface between operational and support departments in exceeding customers expectations.
- Handling all correspondence and inquiries with customer and reps regarding application of product, technical information, process and preparation of quotations.
- Supporting technical presentations to customers. Assist customer and/ or representatives on all questions concerning our product specifications.
- Maintain records of representatives quotations and updates to Application Manager.
- This position will work closely with customers on issues related to application, design, manufacturing, and quality of products in an effort to reach a prompt resolution.
- Handling all correspondence and inquires with customers and reps regarding Application of Product, Technical Information and Prices. Assist customers and/or representatives on all questions concerning our product specifications.
- Technical interface with internal and external personnel. Understanding valve specifications and supporting design reviews
- Capable to perform control valve sizing and selection of Control valves, Steam Conditioning Valves,
- Understanding of customer systems, Assist customer and/ or representatives on all questions concerning our product specifications.
- Ability to review critical valve application information and provide advice on solutions
- Liaison between sales department and other departments.
- Work closely with customers on issues related to application, design, manufacturing, and quality of products in an effort to reach a prompt resolution.
- Directly review and process all incoming customer inquiries. you will be a key technical resource, working closely with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support for our products or solutions.
- The role involves understanding customer requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring successful implementation.
- The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach
- Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features, functionality, and benefits. Address customer queries and concerns during demonstrations
- Technical Solutions: Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical solutions that meet customer needs. Assist in preparing technical proposals, documentation, and presentations
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products or solutions. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
- Develop training materials and documentation. Issue Resolution: Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues reported by customers. Work with the technical support team to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development. Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to improve products or services.
